Unlike many HVAC companies that charge premium rates for evenings and weekends, MacLeod Air does not charge extra for after-hours service. The rate you pay at 8 PM on a Saturday is the same rate you'd pay at 10 AM on a Tuesday.

What to Do While You Wait

• If no heat: Use space heaters safely, close off unused rooms, and dress warmly. Open kitchen and bathroom taps to a slow drip to prevent pipe freezing in extreme cold.
• If no cooling: Close blinds, use fans, and stay hydrated. Move to lower floors if possible (heat rises).
• If water is leaking: Place towels and containers to catch water. If the leak is significant, shut off power to the unit at the breaker.
• If you smell something electrical: Turn off the system at the thermostat and at the breaker. Do not attempt to restart it.
